My approach

I am a BACP accredited therapist. I work relationally, which means that I consider the relationship between us to be a key part of the therapy; and from an embodied position, which means I work with the whole person - mind and body. This enables me to work flexibly and holistically and to adapt my approach to meet different individual's needs as necessary.

I can offer help in many areas, but I have a specific interest and experience in working with disordered eating, particularly binge eating disorder. Binge eating can feel like a scary, lonely problem to have. It’s hard for those who have never struggled to truly understand. One-to-one therapy is an opportunity for us to work together to really explore what’s driving your binge eating. Working to uncover the deeper reasons behind your eating behaviours, addressing your thoughts and feelings, and help you create tools for self-compassion and lasting change as well as a healthier relationship with yourself and your body. I am gentle, sensitive, respectful, and non-judgmental and work at a pace which you are comfortable with.

I am registered with Axa ppp, Aviva, WPA and Vitality health insurances, and I am able to accept clients through their services.

I work both in the NHS and privately and am currently working with frontline NHS workers.

I am a qualified therapist and accredited member of the BACP.
